Book Group: Have you been meaning to take time to read interesting books and to talk to other women about the book? We read one book a month during the school year and we choose books based on current members’ interests. Join a fun book club that meets in member’s houses and enjoy dessert following the lively and diverse discussions.
Bunko: This super fun and simple dice game is a club favorite. We meet once a month based on interest and availability.
Community Outreach: The purpose of this committee is to coordinate ways for the club to serve the Laramie community. Holiday family gift giving is the highlight event.
Foreign Foods: A friendly social get-together for couples.The group meets for five dinners a year with an ethnic dinner prepared and hosted by members. You don’t have to be a chef you just have to enjoy food.
Holiday Home Tour: Enjoy fantastic homes decorated for the holidays at our annual fundraiser.
Lunch Bunch: Meet once a month (October-May) for lunch at a local restaurant.
Moms and Kids: Come meet other moms and give your kids a chance to release some energy playing with others. Days and times will be determined by members’ availability.
Movie Group: Come see an early movie on the last Tuesday of each month and then discuss it over dessert and coffee.
Outdoor Interests: Do you like the outdoors? We hope to arrange a variety of seasonal outdoor activities; hiking, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, and etc. If you have an outdoor interest and you would like to get involved or would like others to join you in your excursions this is the group for you. We meet the last Friday of each month in the morning.
Scholarship Committee: Each year the University Women’s Club awards scholarships to female non-traditional students attending the University of Wyoming. Applications are reviewed in the spring and we meet to determine the recipients. This is a rewarding committee to join.
Social Club: Do you want to try new activities and meet new people? Different events and activities will be scheduled about once a month. Join in on all of them or pick and choose those that interest you.
